This year's Regional Traders and Sales Managers Roundtable, held at the Four Seasons Resort at Las Colinas in Dallas, TX was a huge success. Over 140 registrants from over 60 middle-market bond dealers were in attendance. This year's record breaking number of exhibitors and sponsors made this the first Regional Roundtable to achieve net revenue gain.
published: 31-May-06 Over 30 senior fixed income managers and department heads from over 25 middle market dealers attended the half day forum at the Association's New York headquarters on May 18,2006. The roundtable discussion included topics such as TRACE, NASD regulations and audits, trends in the market, new product development, internal business challenges, compensation and retaining key personnel, and Federal legislative activity. In addition to the active roundtable discussion, Ed Forst, TBMA Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Micah Green, TBMA President, discussed the benefits and status of the potential trade association merger. Lucy Hooper, RAC Chairwoman and EVP and Director, Fixed Income Capital Markets, Davenport & Company LLC, concluded the Summit with closing remarks on the activities of the Regional Advisory Committee.
